To help connect employers who have open positions with Chicago residents who need jobs, we conducted in-depth interviews to identify the following list of workforce organizations. These organizations have positive track records helping employers recruit and train residents from communities that have become disconnected from our traditional employment networks. To determine the list, we looked at characteristics like:

  • Sustained high capacity
  • Adherence to recognized metrics on transparency and quality
  • Levels of work preparation skills provided
