City Colleges of Chicago
City Colleges of Chicago (CCC) offers academic programs that prepare students to head to work in high-demand fields or to transfer to a four-year college, with optional soft skills training and job placement services. Academic program length range from days to 2 years.
Students are guided to select a pathway that leads to industry certifications and/or associate degrees. Several pathways include transitional work experiences.
The curriculum is informed by feedback from employers. Employers can also engage with students by serving as guest instructors, providing real-world learning experiences at their firms, and volunteering as tutors or mentors.
Hiring occurs through on-site events, job matching, and the CCC “online job board’ where resumes and openings are posted.
