Skills for Chicagoland’s Future

Skills for Chicagoland’s Future (Skills) is a public-private partnership working to match businesses that have current, unmet hiring needs with qualified, unemployed and underemployed job seekers. Skills operates an array of programming based on various career tracks to provide job seekers a diverse mix of job opportunities. Skills’ core work focuses on direct placement services, placing job ready candidates into permanent jobs. Additionally, Skills can build training programs around employer partner needs – varying in duration depending on skills attainment requirements. Skills also recently launched a comprehensive youth job placement program that convenes employers, nonprofits and educators to address youth unemployment

  • MOU signed by executive sponsor
  • Regular calls with company’s Skills contact
