Phalanx Family Services

Phalanx Family Services (Phalanx) provides workforce development solutions and strength-based social services to disadvantaged and at-risk populations. Of the 15 workforce programs that Phalanx offers, the largest capacity is for general job readiness training (soft-skills). Hard skill training is also offered and developed with employers based on their needs. Across industries, Phalanx offers employers a ‘trial run’ in which potential employees are placed at a job site for several weeks for a subsidized work experience that Phalanx funds. Some participants are eligible for a longer work experience funded by the state. Programs last from several weeks to 2-3 months.
